Sittikorn was born in 1977 and attended the Silapakorn University in Bangkok, graduating with a Masters Degree in Fine Art in 2004.
During his time at university, he participated successfully in several art awards and contests in Thailand. He was selected as one of the Best Artists of the year 2000 by the Phillip Morris Art Competition, and he also won a prize in the Toshiba Art Competition in 2001. He is now working and teaching in Songkla Nakarin University in Pattani, a southern province of Thailand.
Sittikorn is fascinated by, and finds his inspiration in what he considers the fine line between beauty as we see it in today’s commercial world and what happens when you change one aspect of that perceived beauty. His paintings are bold and somewhat disturbing, but urge us to look deeper into the human being and our concepts of beauty.
