Sirat was born in Bangkok, Thailand in 1973, and continues to live and work there until today. He graduated from the Rajamangala University of Technology, Thunyaburi with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting, and is presently working towards his Master’s degree at the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University in Bangkok.
His subtle and beautifully painted oils invite the viewer into a reflective mood and present an ethereal reality. Each painting of Sirat can be seen as both challenging and calming, at one and the same time.
Sirat has won a number of prestigious awards for his artworks including an Honorary Award in the 2001 Thailand/Asean Art Award sponsored by the Phillip Morris Group of Companies, and exhibited in the National Gallery in Bangkok. In 2006, he was chosen as a finalist in the Sovereign Asian Art Prize of the Sovereign Art Foundation in Hong Kong, which is one of the leading art competitions in the region.
Since 1998, Sirat has participated in many group exhibitions in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Khonkaen, and in 2003 presented a solo exhibition at Rajamangala University of Technology in Thunyaburi.
