Prakornpatara was born in 1972 in Sreesakete, one of the Thailand's Northeastern provinces. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Graphic Art at Chiang Mai University and later a Master Degree of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts at Silapakorn University in Bangkok, one of the most renowned art universities in Thailand.

Prakornpatara has participated in an art exhibitions since 1995 and has won a high number of awards.

La Luna Gallery is presenting his paintings from the "Desire"-series, where he portrays the emotion of the desire, which lives inside us all. He interprets and express it through imagination, a felling of freshness, soft colours and a sweet atmosphere of "organic form", which integrate harmoniously with the spirit of love and affection.

"Basically, humans have an immense desire to continue the race. This desire is expressed through behaviors of love and yearning for the opposite gender. People of all age and eras can not escape from this intrinsic rule of nature. It is the desire of both sexes that has forced creation of endless imagination and beauty", he says.
