After graduating with a Drama Major from the Liberal Arts Faculty of Thammasart University, Nym worked as a Host for music and film programmes, as DJ for radio stations and as creative director for various TV shows, but it always seemed to her like something was missing. Then it dawned on her that what she was missing was the far horizon, the wide skies.
Nym began capturing the world's beauty first with pen and paper as a documentary script writer for travel shows and later, starting in 1999 when traveling the world, she learnt the magic truth of the camera lens . and since that time she's been unable to stop. To this day, she continues to travel and enjoys being a bit restless and footloose.
Nym is now a full-on travel writer if not yet full-time, her work appears primarily in local Thai magazines such as ELLE Decoration, ELLE, GM, Home and Décor and Sudsapda. She recently released her latest travel story book titled "Amsterdam - Friends and the Stolen Bike" and previously authored three other books of travel stories, including 50 handmade first editions of her first book.
She is now presenting her art photos: On the Earth, In the Sky and By the Sea. Her photos are awash with all of the elements: the touch of the earth, the feeling of the ocean breeze, the bewitchment of the stunning sky. It is a collection of the passionate colours of trip after trip around the world - from the Indian Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea, from rice terraces of China to wild lupin fields in New Zealand, from the vibrant paintbox of Mexico to the verdant hues of Nepal, and she also captures the two-wheeled cultures of countries as varied and geographically far apart as Vietnam and The Netherlands.
