Artists:

Since Komkit's graduation from Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois, USA in 1993, the 39-year-old artist, a native of Bangkok, has work professionally in several areas of artistic endeavors. Visual effect-video editor for commercials and TV programs in post production, art director and productions designer for commercials and TV programs and teaching art and design in a Thai University and British International Program are but a few of his credits.

His intention to create new and original works of art in his abstract expressionistic style includes mixing symbolism and pop art together, giving his creations quite a unique and individual style.

Komkit's inspiration for artistic ideas comes from the many sources he is exposed to in his daily life. Among these, TV programs, news, books, magazines, his students and the physical scenes around him guide his creative quest to create paintings, which are individually successful.

In the latest challenge in Komkit's life he is helping to develop a progressive and aggressive program, the first of its kind in Thailand, to help special needs children enjoy and improve the quality of their lives. This is being done, by using the therapeutic techniques of art to help them to focus and stay on task. This is proving to improve their abilities and help them to develop self-esteem and self-respect, which in turn helps them to live a more peaceful and happy life.
