Boaz was born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1972 to an architect father and a painter mother. After finishing four year’s of army service and studying at the Bezalel Academy of the Arts in Jerusalem, he moved to Milan, Italy where he graduated in industrial design from the Instituto Europeo di Design, specialising in information design.
Working as creative consultant and partner in many high tech related companies in Europe and Israel, he has brought his creative work closer to the digital environment, and its juxtaposition with the real world.
He has been living working in Thailand since early 2004 and is inspired by the colours and design patterns of South-East Asia. These he combines with abstract work - the process is that of relaying digital manipulation with brush work and penmanship, to form a new composition, which while losing its older value, creates a completely different artistic identity as a final result. His prints are revelations.
Boaz`s work has been exhibited in Milano and Tel-aviv, and now in is part of the ’Farang Farang’ exhibition at La Luna Gallery in Chiang Mai. |
